Oxford University Hosts “SWCC” Experts to Discuss Research and Innovation Cooperation Opportunities in the Desalination Industry
Oxford University received, on Thursday, experts and specialists from the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, to exchange opportunities for cooperation and joint work in the research and innovation fields, with the participation of specialized companies and entrepreneurs.
Faculty members and attendees reviewed the promising opportunities for joint work in the electromechanical, chemical, and biological fields, in addition to the data modeling opportunities and applications that require the expertise of the desalination industry.
“SWCC” presented its vision for the future of the desalination industry and what has been achieved in it in terms of quality, efficiency, and environmental standards conformity, promising opportunities to increase efficiency and introduce technologies by its research focus. In addition to opportunities for a circular economy, that interferes with many sectors, such as agricultural, food, health, and industrial, in addition to investment in brine water, and extraction of precious metals.
The Oxford Laboratory for Thermal Technologies was also visited, discussing new prospects for building partnerships and sharing knowledge experiences in research areas that enhance renewable energy opportunities and increase the positive environmental impact of increasing the usefulness of the desalination industry's by-products.
Oxford and “SWCC” discussed building a sustainable participatory relationship, praising the pioneering role that SWCC is currently playing to increase research and innovation movement in the desalination industry, *and the responsible sense of integration with other sectors of importance to humans and the environment, and its pivotal role in enhancing sustainable water security.
