SWCC invites consortiums to submit their offers to own 60% of the Ras Al-Khair production bundle
Saline Water Conversion Corporation has invited (7) pre-qualified companies and strategic consortiums to submit their proposals (RFP) to participate in the privatization of the Ras Al-Khair production bundle, where the winning consortium will own (60%) of the project company and take over the management, operation and maintenance activities.
This project is the first of the step of the production bundles to be privatized under the overseas of the Supervisory Committee for Privatization in the Environment, Water and Agriculture Sector, with the active participation of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the National Center for Privatization and the Saudi Water Partnerships Company.
In a related context, SWCC has begun preparing to launch the remaining production bundle, which includes Yanbu and Shuaiba production plant and other under-construction plants that aims the participation of the private sector, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, and in line with the state's aspirations to stimulate investment in front of local and foreign private sector companies.
